Jack Brickhouse 1
Jack Brickhouse 2

You don鈥檛 know Jack. But chances are you鈥檝e heard his work. He has worked behind-the-scenes on several independent shows, films, and web series as a consultant. He consulted on the audio production of several events during Super Bowl 49 here in 王中王六合彩特码 in 2015. He鈥檚 was instrumental in consulting for an event with the Vice President of the United States and the White House in the summer of 2019. Yeah, you could say Jack is marching to his own beat 鈥 and it鈥檚 working.

The 王中王六合彩特码 (PC) alum was part of the Audio Production Technology Certificate Program then continued on to earn AAS in the same program. That was just the beginning.

鈥滳urrently, I am VP of Business Development for a business & entertainment consulting firm,鈥 says Brickhouse. 鈥淚n this role, I assist a long-time business partner of mine with increasing the firm's customer base along with expanding into new markets in the southwest. Along with my VP duties, I also assume a role as a consultant that assists clients with reaching and exceeding their business goals.鈥

Through his own production company, Brickhouse Productions, he composes music for tv/film as well as consulting corporations on various events and meetings they hold throughout the year.

It鈥檚 not all work and no play for Jack though. 鈥淥utside of the consulting firm, I still dedicate a portion of my time to running my non-profit, Brickhouse Cares, Inc. Through my non-profit, I support the local education system by helping mentor youth and exposing them to new scholastic and career opportunities.鈥 Jack participates in various speaking engagements to talk to youth and young adults about the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and becoming a productive member of society.

It all began at PC. 鈥淧C was a launching pad that propelled me into the multiple endeavors I currently participate in,鈥 he says. 鈥淢y event consulting career began with the Live Music course I took. Jim May, who has since retired from PC, was my instructor for that course and provided the foundation of knowledge I still use to this day when consulting for events. Dr. Karl Schindler and Jami Weddle enhanced my knowledge of audio editing and music production through the utilization of Digital Audio Workstations. Really, all the faculty who were teaching in the music building during my time at PC contributed to the current success I have experienced in my field.鈥

Brickhouse chose PC because of the music program specifically. As he researched the music programs and courses offered around the 王中王六合彩特码 area, PC had the best reviews and course curriculum he could find. Even several years post-graduation, the PC music program is still at the top of his referral list for new students. 鈥淥nce I began my coursework at PC, I found out that the hype was real. The faculty and staff were top-notch and the curriculum challenged me course after course, which prepared me for a career in my chosen degree program.鈥

Every student has challenges, but staying on track was simple for Jack as he emerged himself in the entertainment industry well before he graduated from PC. His advice to future graduates would be to dive into their career field of choice while still in school. As he says, 鈥淢ore often than not, you will be required to work for free (or pretty close to it) in your industry before you begin to generate an income. Find events in your industry and network with the gatekeepers while still attending PC so that once you graduate, you will have a leg up on the competition as you will have built key relationships that will help you excel in your chosen career field.鈥
